Jason Hull is a producer and actor, known for Krampus: The Christmas Devil (2013), The Four (2012) and Chasing Darkness (2007).
Has two older brothers, Chris and Todd. Both brothers each have two sons. Played guitar and sang in a moderately successful indie band in the early 2000's named Minus 1. Is a strong supporter of animal rights. Has no children, but has seven cats, all of which were strays, and are (mostly) named after musicians/songs. Hetfield, Zander, Blondie, Orangey, Layla, Lola, and Lita. Began filming his first film, "Chasing Darkness" with little to no prior experience. This film went on to win best horror picture at the 2008 Indie Gathering in Cleveland, OH, and as of 2013 is distributed through Maxim Media International. Rides a motorcycle (2008 Harley Davidson Rocker C and 2009 HD Road Glide), and is a member of the Enforcers Motorcycle Club, who have solid roots with law enforcement and military. Had two Alaskan Malamutes, Nanook and Kaya, and based his production company, Snowdog Studio, after them. The logo for SDS was created to portray a mixture of each of their features. Holds a degree in Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and a Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry. Has a Brown belt in Tae Kwon Do, although he has not practiced the art in several years. Listed on Charred Remains as "favorite Director of 2013" for his work on Krampus: The Christmas Devil, which was also listed on morehorror.com as being one of the top 20 horror films of the same year. Winner "best director" for his work on "Krampus: The Christmas Devil" at the 2014 FANtastic Horror Film Festival in San Diego, CA.
